What are fillers?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of skin and at the same time its basic building block. With age the amount of it decreases and the remaining hyaluronic acid becomes of poorer quality. The visible result is dry, slack skin. Over time skin develops lines and wrinkles; cheeks and lips are not as pronounced as they once were. An effective weapon in the fight against the signs of ageing is hyaluronic acid. It is available as a flexible gel of different densities, that is injected either directly in “problematic” places, at strategic points to lift the sagging face structures , or to add volume to the entire face; the so called “facelift without a scalpel.”
Hyaluronic acid over time becomes completely absorbed. Post procedural effect lasts from 6 to 18 months depending on the density of the preparation, individual factors and lifestyle of the patient.
